With a PIR sensor or PIR detector, you ensure that the LED lights automatically turn on when movement is detected within the detection zone. This detection zone can often be adjusted according to your preferences. Each PIR sensor, whether it's a passive infrared sensor or a passive infrared PIR sensor, can be configured differently, but typically the detection range can be set between 2 and 12 metres.

Additionally, it is possible to set the PIR motion sensor or passive infrared motion sensor to operate on a timer. Once someone walks through the detection zone, the LED light will turn on. For each PIR motion detector, you can adjust how long the LED lights should stay on.
